Itinerary
Day 1: Fáilte To Dublin
Welcome to Ireland! You will start the trip off stress free with a private driver picking you up from the Dublin Airport and transferring you to your hotel.
We recommend you take the day to discover some of Dublin’s main attractions and uncover some hidden gems with a walking tour of the city. Then, head on over to the Guinness Storehouse to witness how this dark ale is produced from start to finish.
Day 2: Boating on the Boyne & Behind the Scenes in Banbridge
Today is the day your adventure begins! Pick up your car rental and embark on your journey north.
First, stop at the historic Boyne Valley canal for a special visit aboard a traditional currach (wooden boat). These vessels were used by the Iron Islanders to traverse the seas, and will be used by you to marvel at the historical landmarks along the Boyne River.
Next up, you’ll head to Linen Mills Studios for the Game of Thrones Studio Tour. This tour invites you to step behind the scenes of the Seven Kingdoms and beyond. Prepare to experience the world of Game of Thrones like never before and explore how one of the world’s most iconic book series was brought to life on screen.

Day 3: Journey To Winterfell & Belfast
This morning, explore Tollymore Forest Park, otherwise known as ‘The Haunted Forest, covering 630 hectares at the foot of the Mourne Mountains. This is where Ned Stark and his sons find the dire wolf pups and where the Night’s Watch stumble upon some dismembered Wildling bodies in the snow.
From here, make your way to Castle Ward, or as you may know it, Winterfell. Explore this iconic filming location set on the 820 acres estate of an 18th century mansion. While here you’ll get the chance to dress up in character and can enjoy an archery or an axe throwing session in the spot where Jon, Robb and Bran shot arrows in the replica Winterfell archery range.

Day 4: All Things Belfast
Today explore Belfast, Northern Ireland’s capital city, on a City Sightseeing Hop on Hop off Tour.
For a bit of history, visit the Titanic Museum, where you can watch the famous ship’s life revealed, from her conception in Belfast, through her stages of construction to her launch on her ill-fated maiden voyage. From here you can also spot Titanic Studios, which is where many of the show’s famous scenes were filmed.
While you’re here, stop by The Dark Horse pub to see the Game of Thrones door, one of ten doors made from two trees at the Dark Hedges, or ‘Kingsroad,’ that fell during a storm in 2016.

Day 5: Cairncastle, Glenarm & On To Cushendall
Journey along the Antrim Coast to Cairncastle – where it all began! This was where Ned Stark beheaded the Nights Watch deserter in the opening scenes of season 1, as well as where Catelyn Stark captured Tyrion Lannister.
Next, you’ll take a short drive to Steensons Jewellery Economusee, where much of the jewelry for the show was produced, including Daenerys’ dragon brooches.
Finally, make your way to Cushendall, otherwise known as ‘The Stormlands’. Melisandra gave birth to the shadow baby in the Cushendun Caves, which are located just beyond the village.
Day 6: Antrim Coast, Ballintoy & Ballycastle
Weave through the picturesque villages and stunning scenery of the Glens of Antrim to the ancient and legendary basalt columns of the Giant’s Causeway. Take a stroll with our local UNESCO World Heritage Site guide, who will tell you all about this gorgeous spot.
Then, once you’re done taking in the beauty of Giant’s Causeway, stop at Ballintoy Harbour, or Pyke on the Iron Islands, home to Theon and Yara Greyjoy. Here, you can check out Door 6 at The Fullerton Arms depicting Drogon, Daenerys’ most fearsome dragon.

Day 7: The Dark Hedges, Downhill Dense And On To Londonderry
Today you’ll travel down ‘The King’s Road’ or known locally as The Dark Hedges. This iconic avenue of beech trees, dating back to the 18th century, is one of the most photographed natural phenomena in Northern Ireland.
Once past, you’ll come upon Downhill Beach, where the old gods burned on the beach at ‘Dragonstone.’ On your journey to Londonderry, a vibrant city steeped in history and culture, stop by Frank Owens in Limavady for Door 5 depicting Night’s King and the White Walkers.

Day 8: Journey To Dublin’s Doorstep
The next morning, take walk along the 17th century city walls with a Local Specialist. See the Londonderry Street murals and delve into the history of this location, all the while listening to tales of what it was like growing up in this city through the eyes of a local.
Once you’re done exploring, you’ll head south along the banks of Lough Erne in Fermanagh, before reaching one of our historic properties on Dublin’s Doorstep for your last night’s stay.
