Universal Fan Fest Nights is a brand new, after-hours event at Universal Studios Hollywood dedicated to sci-fi, fantasy, gaming and anime fandoms. On select evenings this Spring, guests will be able to experience an array of immersive activities, live entertainment, themed food and drink, and exclusive merchandise. Think of it like Halloween Horror Nights-meets-Comic-Con.

The first weekend of Fan Fest just wrapped up, with limited nights remaining, so get your ticket quick if you’d like to attend! And yes, there will be cosplay. Just make sure you read the guidelines before you go. Check them out here.

Here are the Intellectual Properties (IPs) you can expect to see at Universal Fan Fest Nights – along with some surprises!

• Star Trek
  • Prepare for a journey beyond the stars in this one-of-a-kind Star Trek immersion, where you and your friends will get to board the U.S.S. Enterprise-D. This daring, immersive walkthrough experience will feature many familiar locations from the Star Trek franchise, including the Bridge—a screen used set piece from the Paramount+ original series Star Trek: Picard.
• Back to the Future
  • Did you know this this film was shot in part on the Universal backlot? We had no idea! And as part of Universal Fan Fest Nights, guests can hop aboard the Universal Fan Tram and “Go Back” to Hill Valley circa 1955 to relive iconic moments from the movie at Courthouse Square. But don’t get stuck in the past, or you’ll miss your chance to meet Doc Brown and Marty McFly along the way!
• DUNGEONS & DRAGONS
  • Get your 20-sided dice ready, the world’s greatest role-playing game is showing up and showing out for Universal Fan Fest Nights! Engage in an epic quest full of fierce battles, monsters and treasure galore as you help solve the Mystery of Waterdeep.
• ONE PIECE
  • Sail into the world of One Piece and join the ranks of some of the most wanted pirates on the high seas! Take a moment to meet Luffy and his Straw Hat Crew before scoring some treasure you’ll only find at Universal Fan Fest Nights.
• Jujutsu Kaisen
  • Watch Jujutsu Kaisen: Hunger of the Cursed inside Universal’s DreamWorks Theatre as you dig into some delicious snacks, including Yuji’s Chocolate Brownie, Sukuna Cursed Crunch, Nobara’s Strawberry Hammer Smash, and two different flavors of a Ten Shadows Churro. We promise no curses here, only deliciousness and adventure await!
• WICKED
  • Elphaba and Glinda from the iconic musical “Wicked” will be making their debut appearance at Universal Studios Hollywood. Don’t miss your chance to strike a pose with these powerful ladies at their meet and greet before they return to Oz!
• The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™
  • Celebrate your house pride at Hogwarts™ Always, Universal’s breathtaking new show, or have a face to face encounter with some new and exciting creatures, including a baby dragon, an Occamy, and a mischievous Niffler.
• SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™
  • Universal Fan Fest Nights will mark the debut of fan-favorite, Yoshi, as a new meet and greet character in SUPER NINTENDO WORLD. Meet Yoshi, Mario and friends inside the Mushroom Kingdom before joining in on a fun-filled scavenger hunt for hidden Yoshi eggs.

Universal Fan Fest Nights will take place on select weekend nights during Spring 2025. These dates are April 25, 26, 27; May 2, 3, 4; May 9, 10, 11; and May 15, 16, 17, 18.
