After months of only offering multi-day tickets to the general public, Universal Orlando has finally made single-day tickets available for its highly anticipated Epic Universe theme park. If you’re new to Epic Universe, here’s what you need to know!

Epic Universe Opening Date & Ticket Options

Mark your calendars—on May 22, 2025 Universal’s newest theme park, Epic Universe, will finally open its doors. Fans have long been awaiting this new addition to the Universal Orlando Resort, and from everything we’ve seen so far, it looks like it will be well worth the wait!

Previously, tickets to Epic Universe were only available to annual pass holders or guests booking Universal Orlando vacation packages. While these packages are still an option, as of March 13, 2025, single-day tickets are now available for purchase. However, these one-day passes will only be valid starting June 1, 2025. If you plan to visit between opening day and June 1st, you’ll need to book a special vacation package to gain access.

Single-day tickets start at $139, but pricing may vary based on demand and the time of year. Add-ons like Universal Express skip-the-line passes and VIP tours aren’t available yet, but they will be soon.

The Five Immersive Worlds of Epic Universe

Epic Universe is divided into five distinct lands inspired by some of the most popular movie and game franchises. Upon entering the park, guests will be greeted by a massive Emerald Gate and Chronos device, which they must step through to reach the rest of the park. The very first world they will encounter is Celestial Park, a cosmic realm which serves as the main hub connecting the four other worlds through immersive “portals”.

How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic

Additionally, there are 3 hotels being unveiled as part of Epic Universe, with the Universal Helios Grand Hotel serving as the park’s flagship hotel. Due to its mythology-inspired celestial theme and its unique location inside Epic Universe, it is already being hailed as “the crown jewel of Epic Universe and the pinnacle of Universal Orlando’s hotel experiences.”
