Explore the world of Lewis Caroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland at the Atlanta Botanical Garden! Featuring 38 larger than life versions of your favorite characters from the children’s classic, Alice’s Wonderland Returns is the perfect way to spend an afternoon if you are in the Atlanta area.
I was lucky enough to see this exhibit during its first run here in 2019, and had a wonderful time running around and painting the roses red. The sheer size of the topiaries made them incredible to look at, and it felt as if I had fallen right into the story! And while you can expect to see characters such as the White Rabbit and Cheshire Cat on display, the garden also features many other beautiful topiaries, including the iconic Earth Goddess, a personal favorite of mine.
Should you wish to experience Wonderland by night, they have a Cocktails in Wonderland event every Thursday evening. I don’t quite remember if this was an option the last time I visited, but the tipsy photo op, themed cocktail, and Wonderland Scavenger Hunt make it sound like a fantastic evening!
